Let’s BARK, Get Set, GO! The 5TH ANNUAL MONSTER MUTT DASH & HOWL-O-WEEN AFTERPARTY is October 20th at the scenic Coe Lake Pavilion in historic downtown Berea, Ohio. The purpose of our event is to raise awareness and funds for the Berea ARF, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting homeless animals.
The MONSTER MUTT DASH has quickly become one of ARF’s most popular events with last year’s attendance at more than 650 people and their pooches. The 5K race attracts runners of all ages and abilities, while the One Mile Fun Walk is a sight to see with over 200 people and their dogs enjoying the 1 mile fall foliage course. The HOWL-O-WEEN AFTERPARTY is attended by hundreds more animal lovers for the pet-and family-friendly day of pet and family friendly games, superb raffle baskets, delicious food, great music, engaging celebrity emcee, pet photos with scenic Coe Lake as the backdrop, an array of vendors and the legendary Monster Mutt Dash doggie costume show and contest.
We are asking businesses and the community to join forces with us to make this our most successful Dash ever and help the 950+ animals each year that get a chance at life with ARF. ARF relies exclusively on donations and fundraising events such as the Monster Mutt Dash to provide food, shelter and much needed medical attention to our homeless animals.
